Exhilarating entertainment promises be the order of the day at the Sixth Annual Fly-Mu Fly and Music Festival on July 26.
This Masonic charity fundraiser will take place at the Brakpan Airfield from 09:00 till late. Aviators and enthusiasts are invited to join in the fun – show off your aircraft and connect with fellow flying fanatics.
Fly-Mu, a combination of flying and music, is the brainchild of Fanie Bezuidenhout, who lost his life in an aeroplane crash at the Springs Airfield in 2023.
As a Freemason and member of Edward H Croghan Lodge 247 of the Irish Constitution, Bezuidenhout’s benevolent heart led him to combine his passion for aviation, music and charity to launch an event for the benefit of organisations in need.
Visitors can expect a jam-packed day full of aircraft displays, live music, great food and community vibes, and all for a worthy cause.
